We are almost at our two week mark of being full-time RVer's. We don't "leave" until April 10th, but we moved out of our place and put all of our belongings we are not taking with us into storage.
We packed up and started moving things to storage and to the camper gradually so that it wasn't one big, stressful moving day.
Our last night at our place we just had our air mattress, a couple blankets and we wanted to try out the projector we have for outside the camper. Two adults and a dog on a full size air mattress was a good way to prep for our downsized life. ( we are used to a king). 😆
Our bed in our camper now feels like a 5- star hotel after that. We did upgrade our mattress from what it came with- what a difference! II'll do another post just about the "must have" upgrades we have discovered so far.

We are staying at a local campground, John Prince Park, until we leave. Dean has a few jobs to finish up and we wanted to wait a bit to leave to try and avoid any random snow and cold on the trip. We have visited this park many times, but never camped here. It is even nicer than we expected. The campground is right off Lake Osborne in Lake Worth, Florida. They have over 200 sites. They have lake front sites, but you can only stay in those for 2 weeks. We stayed at an inland spot for our first 12 days and then we moved to the lake spot yesterday. The weather has been perfection. I'll do a post with our full review of the campground in the coming weeks.

We are settling in pretty well. I have been working remotely from the camper, and we are making sure we have all the things ready for the journey. Dean's parents got in town the day we moved to our RV and we had a big Relay for Life event last weekend ( will post more on that later.) We have been staying pretty busy during the adjustment.
Overall, things are going better than we expected,so far. We are getting really excited to head out soon. Stay tuned for the "must haves" and site review posts soon. Check out a few more first week photos below. ☺️
