This was just a 1 night stop, but it deserved it's own post. We LOVED this spot and took tons of video and photos. 🤗
It is in the middle of nowhere. Just outside of Junction, Texas. The RV park sits right behind a Pecan Tree farm, and they have their own farm of chickens and goats. Just behind the property is a river. When we arrived they gave us fresh eggs and we were greeted by lots of chickens.
After a quick set up, we drove over to a nearby state park to check it out and saw deer, armadillos and pretty hummingbirds. We also saw our cardinal again!
That evening we went for a walk and saw SO many deer. The deer ended up being all around the campsite through the evening. It was so cool to seem them. We walked down to visit the goats and check out the grounds and river. The next morning we woke up to chickens and deer again. It was so neat to be sitting at my desk working, drinking coffee and watching the deer walk by.
This place is SUCH a gem. If you are traveling to this area you HAVE to check it out. The owners took it over a couple years ago and they are doing such a great job. So many cool little details about this place. I wish we planned to stay longer.
The chickens wanted to join us as we were about to leave!
