As we started getting all the things for our camper and our trip we have come across some items that are game changers for us. We wanted to share some of these items & tips with you. I am sure we will come up with more as time goes on and we aren't complete newbies. As promised, here is our "must have" list so far.

Mattress Upgrade

If you are like me, sleeping comfy is critical. I knew when I first laid on the mattress our camper came with, that it was NOT going to work. I tried ordering a mattress topper, memory foam thing but although it WAS much softer, It was SO hot. I really hate being hot when sleeping too. I did some research and found this mattress on amazon. It had a ton of great reviews and I loved that it was a hybrid spring/memory foam like our King home mattress. We ordered it and LOVE it. It is so comfortable and cool and very reasonably priced. I would say this is a must have. mattress linked here.

Shower head

Anyone who may have been in a camper before knows that the shower heads are pretty dinky. You already won't have the shower pressure that you will have in a home, that is a given. They are also made to save water in your camper so you don't fill tanks fast and don't lose hot water too quick. This shower head that we found is a great option. It has a lot more pressure than the original, but still has different options and a way to shut off water easy to save water. This thing was a game changer for us, for sure. showerhead linked here.

Hot spot

Having internet service is crucial for us since I am going to be working throughout our trip. ( Someone's gotta work and pay the bills, right? ;) Most of the campsites we booked do say they have wifi included, but we have found that so far included wifi doesn't really mean much. The signals are typically pretty terrible. I can toggle off my phone for ATT hot spot, but I wanted to make sure I have options. I purchased the Verizon Jetpack Mifi from Best buy and got a subscription of service with them. I opted for the pre-paid data. So far, it is working great. So now I have both ATT and Verizon as options as needed. Link for Verizon Mifi here.

Ninja Foodi

Alright, this isn't even just for RV people. This thing is the holy grail of food cooking, and especially for just 2-3 people for this size one. The Ninja Foodi. Have you heard of this yet? If you haven't I am not kidding, you are missing out. I am not a sponsor or "influencer" for this, but YO, @Ninja-- holler at your girl --because I will be!! lol. We have told SO many people to buy this thing and everyone loves it.

It has Grill, Bake, AirFry, Dehydrate and Roast all in one . It cooks everything so fast and perfectly! I think we have used this thing every single day we have cooked at home since we have had it for over a year. This makes it so easy to cook in the camper as well. Cooks Chicken, Veggies, steaks, everything SO good. Our favorite is doing wings in them. They have the perfect crisp on the outside and so juicy in the inside. You can even bake a cake in it. Ahhhh, you just HAVE to get this thing- trust me. The one we have is linked here. But they do have a larger option that would work great if you are cooking for more than 2-3 people. Seriously, you will thank me later.

Push light

There are a lot of cabinets and storage areas that are very dark and deep, so hard to see. Adding the push lights have been great to add in spaces where it's dark and hard to see. They come in a 5 pack and I have already found more spaces that we could use more.

We will post more tips and 'must haves' as we go! The list seems to grow by the day 😉

Enjoy!
